This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use, share, and protect it, and your rights under Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). It applies to www.optionsincomesystems.com, our contact form, our free e-book, our emails, and our private Discord server (together, the "Service").

We collect this information directly from you, from the tools you use to interact with us (Stripe, Kit, Discord), and from your browser when you visit the site. We do not knowingly collect sensitive information such as health data or government ID numbers, and we ask that you do not send it.
We use personal information only for the purposes above, or for purposes you would reasonably expect or that we tell you about before using it. If we want to use it for a new purpose, we will ask for your consent first.
By buying a subscription, joining our Discord server, requesting the e-book, submitting the contact form, or otherwise giving us your information, you consent to our collecting, using, and sharing it as described in this policy. We rely on your express consent where the law requires it, and on implied consent where it is reasonable, such as when you contact us and expect a reply. You can withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by emailing us. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to provide some or all of the Service, and we may still keep information we are required or allowed by law to keep.
When you request the e-book or buy a subscription, you give us your express consent to send you commercial electronic messages about trading education and our services, including emails from Kit. Each message identifies us as the sender and includes a working unsubscribe link and our contact information. If you unsubscribe, we will stop sending marketing messages within 10 business days. You will still receive transactional messages, such as receipts, billing notices, and account or legal notices, which are not marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:
We may also disclose information when required or permitted by law, such as to respond to a valid legal request, to protect our rights, to investigate fraud, abuse, or a chargeback dispute with our payment processor and your card issuer, or in connection with a sale, merger, or reorganization of the business, in which case the new owner must protect it under terms similar to this policy. These providers act on our behalf and are expected to protect the information, but they have their own privacy policies and we do not control how they run their services.
Our service providers may store or process your information outside Canada, including in the United States. When your information is in another country, it is subject to that country's laws, and courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities there may be able to access it. We take reasonable steps, such as contracts and choosing providers with reasonable safeguards, to protect it. By using the Service, you acknowledge this transfer.
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy before we start. Third-party pages you open through our links, such as Stripe Checkout, the Kit sign-up page, and Discord, may set their own cookies under their own policies. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies, though some third-party pages may then not work.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires. Billing, tax, and accounting records are kept for at least 6 years, in line with Canadian tax rules. Email list data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable time after. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
We use reasonable physical, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), limited access, and trusted providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a security breach involves your personal information and creates a real risk of significant harm, we will report it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and notify you, as required by law.

The Service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our site links to third-party sites and services, including YouTube, Stripe, Discord, and Kit. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them information.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. For material changes, we will notify subscribers by email or on the site, and where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent.
